  • When should I start shopping for my dress?
Typically you want to start shopping about a year out. Some dresses come in within 3-6 months. If you need something quick, we have a large selection on our off the rack selection for under $750. Depending on the dress you want, we may be able to sell our sample dress off our floor too.
  • How many dresses do you have?
We have over 300 dresses in our store with all shapes, styles and pricepoints.
  • Who should I bring with me to my appointment?
You should bring your closest family or friends, the decision makers or whoever is paying for your dress. Typically, we suggest 2-3 people because too many people can confuse you. If you have a larger group than 4 please contact us for a special appointment time.
  • How much money should I expect to spend on a dress at Lace and Grace?
We are extremely budget friendly- our off the rack dresses are all under $1200. All of our other dresses are under $3,000 but most of them are under $2,000.
  • What should I know about gown sizing? Will you have my size available?
We have samples size 4-28 in store and we can order up to a size 44 with most of our designers and our private collection. If your size it outside of this range and you see a dress you MUST try on, call us and we will try to work some magic!
  • What if my size isn’t available? How will I try on gowns?
We can work most dresses with clips/not zipping, etc. to give you a look at how it will realistically look on you.
  • What will my appointment be like?
When you arrive you will fill out a short questionnaire so we can maximize our time together. Then you will browse the floor while we prepare glasses of champagne for you and your guests, or grab waters if you prefer. Then we will select the gowns you want to try on, trying to keep this to 7 or less. You will try on dresses until you find "The One", then we will pick a veil and accessories to complete your look.
  • What if I need more than an hour and a half to choose my dress?
We can schedule a time for you to comeback or continue your appointment if there isn't anyone booked after you.
  • Can I bring children to my appointment?
We love children! Children are welcome, we just ask that there is an adult to help take care of the child(ren) to make sure they are on their best behavior. We have flower girl dresses and well as tuxedo/suit options for ring bearers too!
  • Can I bring champagne to my appointment?
We love champagne as much as we love children! Haha! We provide the champagne for you!
  • Will I need alterations?
Most bride's need alterations in some aspect. We don't have an in house seamstress as we want to maximize our floor space to give you the most dress options possible. We can definitely give you some referrals for your alteration needs.
  • What should I expect in the fitting room?
In order not to damage the gowns, our stylists will join you in the fitting room to help you in and out of the gowns. You may wear whatever makes you comfortable underneath the gowns, but we do require underwear. Feel free to wear Spanx! They are great for foundational support and help the gowns to slide right on.
